SUN GODDESS PROSECCO
Sun Goddess is an Italian wine collection produce by Grammy Award-Winning Songwriter, Actress, Producer, and Queen of hip-hop soul, Mary J. Blige (MJB) in partnership with the Fantinel Winery’s sun-kissed vineyards. MJB is a voice of empowerment within the music industry and figure of inspiration. MJB also happens to have an affinity for wine. MJB states “Wine tasting is one of my passions. Wine is culture. Wine is community. Wine is lifestyle. Wine is emotion.” Sun Goddess is a nickname coined by her sister growing up and became the perfect name for her wine collection since the sun is an integral component to the maturity of the grapes harvested for bottles of Sun Goddess wine.

Fantinel Winery was founded in 1969 by restaurateur and hotelier, Paron Mario Fantinel in Collio area of northern Friuli, Italy. The Fantinel Winery is succeeded by 3 generations and Friulian wine-maker Marco Fantinel who partnered with MJB to create her Sun Goddess wine collection. In Friuli Venezia Giula, key characteristic highlights for the region are a unique Microclimate, Terroir rich mineral soil which afford Structure & Complexity, Exquisite Quality, Acidity, and Fragrant Aroma.
Marco & MJB were a dynamic pair during the production process of the Sun Goddess collection which debuted 2020. Each partner ensured bottles were produced with love and passion, so the flavor profile was just right. Today’s feature is Sun Goddess Prosecco is 11.5% ABV sparkling wine, aromatic fruits on the nose such as Peach, Apple, and Pear, Brut Finish, and 100% Friuli DOC “controlled designation of origin.” In honor of Sun Goddess Prosecco #SWISS has created a cocktail expression called:
